On a daily basis, we need to remain consistent with a cleanser and a moisturizer.
Try this amazing cleanser called Psalm 51:7:
Use the same cleanser day and night (Joshua 1:8), and then switch up your moisturizing routine for night. Apply some Jeremiah 33:8 to your heart and mind, and it will leave your spirit squeaky clean. I highly recommend pairing it with Isaiah 4:4 to really hydrate your inner man even while you sleep.
Moisturizers lock in hydration. Your prayer time with God is what moisturizes your life. The more time you spend with Him, the more the oil of the Holy Spirit will help you retain the Word that cleanses you. Prayer and Bible reading go hand in hand just like cleansers and moisturizers do. If you try to cleanse without the moisturizer it could leave you dry. If you moisturize without the cleanser then you could potentially lock in the build up of dirt. Likewise those who just read their Bible but do not pray, become spiritually dry obtaining a form of godliness but lacking the power. Similarly, those who pray yet fail to cleanse themselves by the washing of the Word, will look good on the outside but inside will be so full of filth.
Psalm 51:2 is another cleanser to keep near by – “Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” What cleansers have you kept on the shelf of your heart to keep you from sinning against the Lord? Share your cleanser of choice in the comment section below. It may be just the cleanser someone else needs.
One last tip for today: To internally add moisture, I lean towards Words that are super hydrating to my heart like Hebrews 10:22. I speak them out loud and believe it is for me. It works wonders!

Great words for today. Yes, it is very important to cleanse and moisturize physically and with the LORD on a daily basis.
