Sunday’s #SelfieCheck on Pride- Link up # 3

selfieCheck

Have you checked your “Selfie” lately?

My friend Thasia and I are partnering up to prepare the Bride of Christ for the return of our Bridegroom. We will be doing a weekly video or a blog post on examining our hearts to see if we are in the faith. See our introductory video for more information. This will be a community link up to help each other in our journey for healing and freedom.

This week’s prompt is: Pride
What examples of this heart issue have you struggled with?
What #SelfieCheck Scripture did you use to help you overcome the obstacle of this heart issue?
(Be careful as to not expose someone else, this is a #SelfieCheck only.)

1. Link up your motivating post with the InLinkz button below when available.

2. Feel free to grab the Sunday #SelfieCheck button (on the right) to display on your blog.

We would love for you to add a link to Sunday #SelfieCheck to lead others back here as well.

3. Then, this is the only thing we ask of you. Leave a comment on the post linked up right before yours.

We will keep this link open until next Saturday night and so you will have the whole week to see opportunities for this heart issue to rear it’s ugly head.

Now it is time to fess up and link up:

About Jodie Dye

Originally from the Detroit, Michigan area, Jodie has made Bradenton, FL her home since October 2015. A former gang member and drug addict who had lost all hope of living, Dye felt the Lord calling her to follow him on Sept. 1, 1992. She has been following Jesus Christ for over 25 years with a greater addiction than she had with drugs. Her life testifies that God can create beauty from the hopeless cases in today’s society. What the enemy meant for her demise, God turned everything around and all things became new in her life. Bill and Jodie Dye married in October 10, 2010. They have three children each, making their lovely family a model of the brady bunch. Her calling is to prepare the Church for the coming of Jesus Christ. She is very passionate about helping people inside the Church walls to know their identity in Christ so they can be better equipped to live out what they believe. She has written four books with the focus on this preparation. Her book called Beauty Treatments: Prepare to Meet Your King helps the Bride of Christ prepare to meet King Jesus for when He returns. Jodie directs and hosts Beauty Treatment retreats, workshops and conferences. She has also been a speaker at various women's events and conferences. Jodie, this was a tough session for me to do but I thank God we did it. Pride sits on the thrown of too many of our hearts and it weakens our relationship with the Father. So lets expose it!
