Proud Mama Moment

Unfortunately, I have had a rough couple months dealing with the heartache of a prodigal son. It has really tested my faith in many ways. However, I have seen God’s faithfulness in my life so I know that he will be faithful to the promise I have for my oldest son.

In the midst of placing so much focus in areas I should just leave to God, He reminds me of the son that I still have influence with. He is 11 soon to be 12; my little miracle baby. He has been a source of my joy lately. Almost like a breath of fresh air. So I hope you don’t mind but this proud mama wants to share a sweet sound with you all.

My son Daniel has a musical talent, and even though he drove the teacher bonkers, he has developed an art to his music. He made this video himself. 🙂 He wrote the lyrics for this song, and he also added the sounds of his own beat boxing and guitar. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did.

  1. What a little powerhouse! My son is twelve and yes, God reminds me often about the influence and impact I need to have on His life – and the one he has on mine. Praying for your prodigal and asking that He would find his way home to the God who is waiting with open arms – and the mama who loves him dearly.

Jodie, your son has real talent. And hang in there – my daughter went into rebellion and we had a hard time for a while but with the grace of God and much prayer we are again best friends. I will add you to our prayer list. PS- my grandparents and a lot of my relation live in Perrysburg, Ohio. My mom and dad were both born there. We used to love to visit there when we were children and I can remember going to The Andersons for flowers. Visiting from Me, Coffee, and Jesus.
