Giving Thanks for Daily Dish Three

DAILY DISH: Not Ya’ll Supreme

As I continue to bite into the crunchy book of Colossians, I can’t help but give thanks for such a supreme being. Thank you Jesus!

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

There are so many things that are up in the air for us. We literally are walking by faith and not by sight. We have a lot of decisions to make in the next couple months and it really doesn’t make much sense. I continue to declare, “I know nothing except that God is good.”

Another thing I do know is that God is in control. He is everywhere. He created us. He knows us. He knows the plan and the plot that the enemy has against us, and yet He is still in control no matter what the devil puts in our way.

I am glad that I don’t have to have the control. Even though when I don’t have control then I often feel very insecure and afraid of the outcome. But then it becomes my challenge to trust in this Supreme being as the One Who holds me and everything else together.
