The word today is LIFE.
I am participating in a 31 day challenge to bloggers everywhere to write for five minutes everyday in October. This challenge was issued by Kate Motaung’s link up. Join me everyday as I chart our progress (in 5 minutes) on the unknown adventure with a known God.
This is the life. Again I am imagining that I am having the time of my life on this cruise. Remember I am writing these posts before I even get aboard the ship. But from what I hear, going on a cruise is a phenomenal experience. So I will write as if I am writing from a place of total rest, relaxation, and renewal.
Life is hard. Life can take it’s toll on us all. From living your whole life with a aches and pains, to living your life with regrets. Life is hard. My life has been hard. I am not looking for sympathy, because I have received grace in my time of need. He is sufficient in my life. But life was not meant to be easy for anyone. Life on earth is only a test. It is only temporary too. We can rest in that thought.
Life eternal is what I am truly after. My life on earth is preparing me for what is to come.
“In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life” (1 Timothy 6:19).
Life in Christ is truly worth living for.

P.S. Since I will be unavailable the entire cruise, I will respond to any comments when I return. I have pre-written the blogs for the week of October 11-16 to go along with Kate Motaung’s prompted word of the day, and they will be automatically sent on the corresponding day. I must complete the challenge!
