The word today is TEACH.
My husband and I are leaving today for a cruise to the Caribbean. Bill’s son Korey is getting married on the boat, and my man is the best man. Yes! This is going to be totally awesome. I have never been a cruise before, so I am sure you have something to teach me about what to do or what not to do on this adventure.
I am also looking for God to teach me something about sailing aboard His ship. Remember I am writing this month on the adventures of our unknown, because God is leading us in a totally different direction than we had anticipated. We have no idea His plan, but as we trust in Him, He will teach us along the way.
When God teaches me, he usually uses metaphors or word pictures to teach me His way. His vessel (me) will sail the unknown waters, as I am doing daily. I may encounter some scary unknown details along the way, but I am learning through the process.
I (The Almighty Lord) will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you (Psalm 32:8).
Am I teachable? Are you teachable?
P.S. Since I will be unavailable the entire cruise, I will respond to any comments when I return. I have pre-written the blogs for the week of October 11-16 to go along with Kate Motaung’s prompted word of the day, and they will be automatically sent on the corresponding day. I must complete the challenge!
