You speak, I speak we all speak for God Supreme!
I am so excited that God made a way for me to attend this year’s SheSpeaks Conference.
“Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.” Exodus 4:12
Yes I have always been a talker. I can talk your ear off in fact. But more recently in the past couple of years, since the year of applying my own personal beauty treatments, I have become a listener. No I haven’t completely shut my mouth, but I am in a season of gleaning from others.
I do feel the call to speak about all the Lord has done in my life. I have to shout it in fact from the rooftops that without the saving power of the Supreme God in my life, I would have either died in my sin or ended up in prison.
However, I need to learn how to speak effectively so that the words that I speak are clear enough to be understood, and will make an impact in the hearts of those who hear. Being a public speaker is quite different than speaking in the public as I have learned. So I am more than grateful to have been given this opportunity to sit under women who have been public speakers for a long time.
And so it is my prayer that this verse will one day be said of me,
“For he is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit.” John 3:34
